ESSENTIAL DUTIES IN THE FIRST YEAR MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 30 days:

Partners with another Warehouse Associate to shadow and learn the order selection process, how to properly package customer orders, and identify multiple shipment methods.

By the 30-day mark, proficiently handles packing for all products and is comfortable with UPS and small shipments.

3 months and ongoing:

Independently assembles and packs all customer orders fully knowing the warehouse layout, where parts are stored, and the process while pulling and replenishing parts after fulfilling orders.

Continues to expand ones knowledge and skillset by taking on increasingly more complex orders from customers that require specific packaging, labeling, etc.

6 to 12 months and ongoing:

Assists with shipping and receiving tasks including unloading trucks and processing item receiving following Index Industries procedures.

Introduced to LTL (Less-than-truckload) shipments, learns the checking-off process through shadowing another Warehouse Associate.

Works successfully in a fast-paced environment, completes assigned facilities maintenance duties and operates warehouse vehicles and equipment while ensuring proper maintenance.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Possesses a valid drivers license and DMV printoutrequired

Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work with enthusiasmrequired

Possesses strong written/verbal communication skillsrequired

Demonstrates strong organizational and mathematical skillsrequired

1+ year(s) of working experience within a warehouse or similar environmentpreferred

Strong familiarity with modern warehouse practices and/or methods of operationpreferred

Experience with counting scales within a warehouse environmenta plus

COMPENSATION & COMPANY BENEFITS INCLUDE:

The compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $21.50 per hour based on experience and skillset

Your Working Hours:Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
