As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol PT in Reston, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide support to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols inside the building and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and clients with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
