Duties

• Prepare, season, and cook a variety of grilled items with precision and consistency, ensuring optimal flavor and presentation
• Follow established recipes and menu specifications to deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to food safety standards at all times
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, chopping, and portioning ingredients for efficient service
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality control
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
• Support menu planning by suggesting new grilling techniques or flavor combinations to enhance offerings

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a focus on grilling, food preparation, and food handling techniques
• Strong knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and portioning of ingredients
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen
• Experience with dietary department standards and dietary aide procedures is a plus
• Excellent understanding of meal preparation, catering, and fine dining service standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and contribute positively to the kitchen environment
