Join Riverside Health in beautiful Coastal Virginia as a Comprehensive or Glaucoma Ophthalmologist . This opportunity allows you to join one of the largest teams of ophthalmologists in the region, offering comprehensive eye care across a range of specialties. As part of our dynamic, multi-specialty ophthalmology team, you will collaborate with a group of highly skilled physicians in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You will be part of our Hampton Roads Eye Associates (HREA) at either Oyster Point in Newport News , or in Gloucester , cities rich in history and natural beauty.

Our practice includes:

• 3 Retina Specialists
• 1 Pediatric Ophthalmologist
• 1 Cornea Specialist
• 1 Glaucoma Specialist
  
• 1 Refractive Specialist
  
• 11 Comprehensive Ophthalmologists
• 7 Optometrists

The group works in a well-equipped outpatient surgical center, offering state-of-the-art facilities and experienced support staff. Riverside Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program .

Practice Opportunities:

• Oyster Point (Newport News): Comprehensive or Glaucoma Ophthalmology
• Gloucester : Comprehensive Ophthalmology

Both locations offer:

• A well-established practice with a large internal and external referral base
• Access to 500-bed, level II tertiary care centers and 60-bed hospitals
• A strong team of board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologists
  
• Production-based compensation with a relocation allowance
• Shared call with 16 other ophthalmologists
  

Qualifications :

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Virginia
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Current DEA registration
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers
