Location: Harrisonburg, VA Position Type: Full-time Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Powersports A – B Level Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles to ensure they are in top condition for our customers. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and install accessories on powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs and side by sides.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance services to identify potential problems and ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all repairs and parts used.
Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning. Keep work area clean and organized, following safety protocols and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers, providing updates on repair status and recommendations for additional services. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or certification in powersports mechanics is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a powersports technician, with A or B level certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles and their systems, including engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and electrical components.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
