A day (well, night) in this role

As the facility transitions to the night shift, you’ll take ownership of a high‑speed, automated packaging cell. You’ll run diagnostics on HMIs, evaluate machine throughput, and step through schematics to isolate issues before they impact uptime. When performance drifts, you’ll trace signals, swap components, or fine‑tune mechanical assemblies. Between calls, you’ll keep the cell showroom‑clean, reconcile parts inventory, and document each service action in clear, PC‑based reports. All of this happens with the steady support of a tight 4‑person team that shares knowledge, tools, and wins.

What you’ll take on

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance on high‑speed packaging machinery
• Troubleshooting performance issues using HMIs, schematics, and diagnostics
• Maintaining a clean, organized work cell that reflects world‑class standards
• Delivering outstanding on‑site customer service and communication
• Managing site parts and completing daily service reports
• Collaborating closely within a 4‑person team

What helps you succeed

• Hands‑on mechanical repair experience in a production environment
• Comfort with metric tooling and measurement systems
• Working knowledge of HMIs and packaging equipment
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and manuals
• Clear, confident communication and team orientation
• PC literacy for reporting and diagnostics

Bonus points

• Direct HMI controls experience
• Background with automated machinery
• Electrical troubleshooting certifications

Schedule & location

Schedule: 12‑hour night shifts, 4‑on/3‑off and 3‑on/4‑off rotation (stable pattern)
