Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Manager position is available in Locust Grove, VA, offering the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate the dispensing of medications while maintaining accuracy and safety.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage inventory control and procurement of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws and practices.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current and valid credentials to practice.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Manager or in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Proficient in pharmacy software systems and inventory management.
Location:
- Locust Grove, VA
This is a contract position with an assignment based in the Locust Grove area. Candidates should be prepared to relocate or commute as necessary.
