Cable Technician – Data Center (Sandston, VA)

Full‑Time | Paid Training | Overtime Available

Our client is hiring multiple Entry‑Level Cable Technicians to support a major data center build in Sandston. No experience required—full training provided.

What You’ll Do

• Pull and route copper and fiber cabling throughout the data center
• Install cable trays, pathways, J‑hooks, and support structures
• Build and assemble server racks
• Learn cable color codes, labeling, and pre‑termination prep
• Assist lead techs with terminations, grounding, and fire‑stopping
• Follow blueprints and complete basic paperwork
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Comfortable with physical work and ladders
• Team‑oriented with a strong work ethic
• Flexible with hours—overtime may reach 10–12 hour days, 6 days a week

Preferred (Not Required) Skills

• Cable pulling, Cat5/Cat6, or structured cabling experience
• Construction or hands‑on technical experience

This is a Contract position based out of Sandston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
